Calendar Please remember, the earlier you donate, the sooner we can get the packages to our troops overseas. We appreciate as much time as you can give us to pack and ship the items.
January 15 -- February 28, 2010 – Operation Bags of Love – Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. will be accepting donations for our “Bags of Love” to show our deployed troops that they are appreciated and thought of often. The bags are filled with most-needed items, in addition to snacks, games, books, etc. March 1 – March 19, 2010 – Operation “Egg”stravaganza - Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. will be accepting plastic eggs filled with drink mix singles, ChapStick, candy, etc. to send to our troops for the Spring.
March 1 – April 30, 2010 – Operation Cookie Drop – Boost your Girl Scout cookie sales while boosting the morale of our men and women in uniform! Please join Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. in an effort to provide our troops overseas with a most-requested taste of home – Girl Scout Cookies! May 1 – August 31, 2010 – Operation Beat the Heat – The heat is extremely taxing on our troops. Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. will be accepting donations of ChapStick, drink mix, sunscreen, insect repellant, hand-held, battery operated fans, as well as any other items to help during the heat of summer.
September 1 - December 6, 2010 – Operation
October 31 -- November 5, 2010 -- Operation Trick-or-treating for the Troops -- Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. will be accepting donations of candy to be used in the upcoming holiday stocking project. Please help us by putting out a collection bin for the excess Halloween treats.
